New York Marathon canceled, Bloomberg says
Fri Nov 2, 2012
Seems like both sides of the argument are missing an opportunity. A huge crowd of folks from around the world has plans to descend upon NYC. City officials and Marathon planners should ask those folks to help cleanup, donate funds, whatever is necessary.
What do you think 'The Office' needs to do to survive without Steve Carell?
Sat Apr 9, 2011
What would be awesome is if they didn't replace Carell. Instead, have a bit of a recluse in the boss' seat. He never comes out; and we never see him go in. We might hear him yell off screen. We might hear him over the intercom. But in reality, we only know him as a character through how …
James Dean molestation kept secret by Taylor
Fri Mar 25, 2011
This blows. Her friend shares a troubling secret with her, and her only excuse for sharing it with the world is that she had to die first. Why? So she wouldn't have had to live with the guilt of betrayal? Suddenly, Elizabeth Taylor seems not so stellar to me.

Katy Perry gets back at 'Sesame Street' on 'The Simpsons'
Mon Dec 6, 2010
Humorous and clever...especially since a kid looking at it wouldn't have gotten the joke. Love Sesame Street and respect their decision. Love The Simpsons and this gag. And kudos to Katy Perry for not taking herself so seriously. Perhaps she was a bit much for Sesame Street (though I don't t …
'The Simpsons' intro takes a dark twist
Mon Oct 11, 2010
The intro was awesome. I loved it, and yet it wasn't very funny. My beef here is not with the intro, but this "news piece." This isn't news. It's a press release. Why did they choose this topic. Who the hell is Banksy? And why can't a reporter (even if it is just a gossip columnist) …

'Toy Story' and sequel get new life in 3-D
Thu Oct 1, 2009
As much as my family and I love the Toy Story films, this seems like a poorly conceived idea. For a family of four, with tickets, the 3-d surcharge, soda and popcorn, this would be about $100 out of pocket--to see a double feature we've already seen a zillion times. And then there's the fact that it …
Which celebrity should keep his or her lips zipped?
Fri Aug 14, 2009
Jon & Kate. Never watched them. Never will. These days, however, their antics and voices never shut the heck up. Go away now. Please.
8 ways the food industry fools you
Fri Jul 10, 2009
It's hard for me to feel victimized or brain washed. Even when I was more than 30 pounds overweight, every french fry I shoved in my mouth was a concious decision. (Who really believes that potato skins are good for you?) Why should we feel sorry for the folks who eat three supersized meals at …
